Unit has 7 icons....

for clear, sunny, mostly sunny, mostly clear ................................................. use sunny icon (297.1)
for partly sunny,partly cloudy,.................................................................use cloudy icon (295.1)
for showers, rain, light rain, heavy rain....................................................... use rain icon (299.1)
for cloudy,fog,overcast................................................................ .......use overcast icon (298.1)
for mostly cloudy................................................................................use mcloudy icon (296.1)
for snow, light snow, heavy snow ..............................................................use snow icon (300.1)
for t-storm.......................................................................................use storm icon (301.1)

Only mcloudy icon matches with yahoo weather condition. All the others are misplaced.

These are my suggestions for which icons should be displayed on unit according to yahoo weather conditions.
As far as the unit is concerned, the fact that it displays an overcast icon instead of a sunny icon is irrelevant to icons' accuracy. The problem is that the icons don't match with yahoo weather conditions.
A new match between my suggestions and the icons that the unit displays would solve the problem.

Sorry for the delay.

I understand some icons might not be totally accurate but those should be showing correctly under their range.

Can you see this page

https://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public/y ... eswithkeys

And check if the weather is the same as the one you want?
Because from there goverlay is getting your weather

Right now its "clear"

<yweather:condition code="31" date="Wed, 18 May 2016 02:00 AM EEST" temp="66" text="Clear"/>

There are two problems.
1. the page (https://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public/y ... eswithkeys) takes data with delay.
2. <yweather:condition code="31" date="Wed, 18 May 2016 11:00 PM EEST" temp="69" text="Clear"/> and unit shows overcast icon.

In this case:

Image

http://s32.postimg.org/ptxny41vp/Untitled1.jpg

The time is: <lastBuildDate>Thu, 19 May 2016 12:48 AM EEST</lastBuildDate>
and unit show the weather when time was <yweather:condition code="31" date="Wed, 18 May 2016 11:00 PM EEST" temp="69" text="Clear"/>
There is a delay of 1hour and 48 minutes.
The unit shows overcast icon.

Refreshing again ...

One hour delay.
The unit shows overcast icon.

I have no forgotten you but i know 7 months sound unnaceptable.

I have been waiting on the manufaturer because some changes are coming but its been delay after delay trying to work some things out.
I will be releasing a new version soon which includes some changes in the weather system, after i do, we can take a look and see how its performing for you and if it needs any change

Okay, so the temperature number now works correctly?

About the icons, this is the set im using (the number in codeTable represents what yahoo has as a weather code):
https://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public/y ... %20(959973)&format=xml

codeTable("0") = "storm"
codeTable("1") = "storm"
codeTable("2") = "storm"
codeTable("3") = "storm"
codeTable("4") = "storm"
codeTable("5") = "rain"
codeTable("6") = "rain"
codeTable("7") = "rain"
codeTable("8") = "rain"
codeTable("9") = "rain"
codeTable("10") = "rain"
codeTable("11") = "rain"
codeTable("12") = "rain"
codeTable("13") = "snow"
codeTable("14") = "snow"
codeTable("15") = "snow"
codeTable("16") = "snow"
codeTable("17") = "overcast"
codeTable("18") = "overcast"
codeTable("19") = "overcast"
codeTable("20") = "overcast"
codeTable("21") = "overcast"
codeTable("22") = "overcast"
codeTable("23") = "overcast"
codeTable("24") = "overcast"
codeTable("25") = "mcloudy"
codeTable("26") = "mcloudy"
codeTable("27") = "mcloudy"
codeTable("28") = "mcloudy"
codeTable("29") = "cloudy"
codeTable("30") = "cloudy"
codeTable("31") = "overcast"
codeTable("32") = "clear"
codeTable("33") = "clear"
codeTable("34") = "clear"
codeTable("35") = "rain"
codeTable("36") = "clear"
codeTable("37") = "storm"
codeTable("38") = "storm"
codeTable("39") = "storm"
codeTable("40") = "storm"
codeTable("41") = "snow"
codeTable("42") = "snow"
codeTable("43") = "snow"
codeTable("44") = "cloudy"
codeTable("45") = "rain"
codeTable("46") = "snow"
codeTable("47") = "rain"
codeTable("3200") = "clear"

the device icons are

LCDSys_ICO("weather_cloudy") = 295
LCDSys_ICO("weather_mcloudy") = 296
LCDSys_ICO("weather_clear") = 297
LCDSys_ICO("weather_overcast") = 298
LCDSys_ICO("weather_rain") = 299
LCDSys_ICO("weather_snow") = 300
LCDSys_ICO("weather_storm") = 301

this are the yahoo codes

6 mixed rain and sleet
7 mixed snow and sleet
8 freezing drizzle

19 dust
20 foggy
21 haze
22 smoky
23 blustery
