Hi there, I recently ordered the 3.5 unit and was wondering that if it's in LCD screen mode, does it work like one of those USB monitors? Also, will the GOverlay device work if plugged straight into the motherboard header with a micro USB to header connection?

Update for anyone wondering, it does not support being used as an extra monitor. Not sure about plugging into the motherboard yet but I just got some micro USB to motherboard cables to find out. I'll let you folks know!

I am definitely interested in your progress here. I want to use mine to mirror my Smartphone screen when I plug it in. Have you tried plugging it into a phone?
