turn screen 180 degree?

Postby schwick » Sat Nov 03, 2018 4:45 pm

Hey,

I am planning on adding the 3.5 inch version to my case. However the USB connector is in plain view. If I would 180 degree turn (so that the USB on the right side) than my cable management problem would be resolved.
However problem is that now the screen is upside down.

Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Due to hardware limitations rotation is not possible with the display.
The only thing you can do is use a font made upside down, and use imagesensors with images upside down.

Couldn´t you just use a 180degree MicroUSB Cable or Adapter?
If not, try to search for a FCC Cable. They are really Slim and can be Painted.

@TheLaGmAn: It kinda works... I made my own font where I rotated the text and loaded it in goverlay. If it's a static text it works. However when using a sensor the values are inverted. For example 27 degrees will be shown as 72.
@skyhigh24: Yes I was already looking at that option to buy an (180 degree) adapter. Maybe somebody knew a software solution for this problem.
