Bug on clock in notification box

Hi everyone,

I have a bug on the 3.5" LCDSysinfo's "Notification Box". Sometimes, the clock (I put it to 24h time format without seconds) only shows 3 numbers. Most of the time this involves a 4 somewhere in the clock.

Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce this in any way, however I managed to snap a screenshot:

This was yesterday at 08:54...

My suspicion is that this might have something to do with the size of the numbers and the available space.. However as mentioned, this does not happen every time - e.g. 08:14 works fine, then it might happen again at 08:24, etc.

Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

And it happened again on 08:24, I managed to snap a video of it:

As you can see, the clock jumps to "08:2" and then on 08:25 it jumped back from "08:2" to "08:25"

Sorry for the double post, I did some more testing:
During the bug (right now it's showing "08:4" the full 10 minutes from 08:40 to 08:50), it does not matter if I change:

• font size
• font type (bold/regular)
• weather (enable/disable)
• 24 vs. am/pm

I basically fiddled with all settings that are available for the notification box and the bug still occurs. I reloaded the display after changing every settings, so it was on a fresh draw.

Thanks for the info.

It can either be the number not fitting (which would be weird because it does fit) or an issue drawing the change.
Can you add a second notification box so you can compare if it happens on both at the same time?

thanks for the response.

I added a second bar and will report back as soon as it happens.

What is noticeable immediately is, that the 2nd bar will not show the weather (as well as the weather icon), even though the settings on both bars are exactly the same. Not sure if this is intended. On reload of the screen with the 2nd bar the weather icon pops up VERY quickly and instantly disappears.

Edit: Scratch that, this happened because my TS talker was overlapping the 2nd bar. I have now set up a screen with 2 bars and no overlaps.

It's currently 14:10 where I am, so the bug might reappear in 4 or 14min.

Edit 2:
It happened again, 14:24. With 2 bars and on a completely new template I made just for testing with nothing else except those two bars. Screen:

Another thing I noticed, might be related, is that my logs are getting flooded with:

Can you try with hour with seconds? see if there is any issue there

Yes, same issue. For example right now it showed "20:22:1" and 20:22:2" instead of 20:22:14 / 20:22:24... so it definitely has something to do with the 4

Try with the BETA 1.6.4.11_cgu , see if it does the same
