Serial port listening application

Hi all,

I have just ordered a LCD display for my new project. just waiting.

My plan is to read live data from a Serial port (USB to RS232 / Com port3) and display the live data on the goverlay LCD display.

Has anyone done that before? - and it is possible? if yes how do i start the setup the goverlay software?

you should be able to do it with VB and the plugin system of GOverlay, so take a look into that, download the goverlay software and look at the plugins examples
