Goverlay running but cant open/see it

here is my problem: I start Goverlay and its also in the tray, but the app itself is not to be seen. In the tray I can change profiles, but I cant open the software itself. At least I guess that should be happening if I click "show". Also if I double click the tray icon, nothing pops up. When I start Goverlay from the start menue or the taskbar, I see the little blue circle shortly and thats it.
I had this from the very start after installing, however it opend somehow once, so I could use AIDA64 sensors and download a profile. The device itself is working and is showing sensor values, but since then I could not get the app to open again.
What shall I do?
