saving VisualScript

Postby JaxyL_597 » Sat Mar 27, 2021 3:54 am

Hi all, I have designed some Visual Scripts, and they are working fine but when I close the app and re-open they are "semi-vanished"...
What I mean for "semi-vanished"? They are not working on lcd, not displayed with the pinkish bar but if I click on VS button on their sensor, the script is there! I can simply save and they work, but I don't want to activate them manually every time. This happens on every VS on every profile when I start the app, I tried to export and import the VS but nothing changes, I didn't found a dedicated directory to store them.

Log tells me this:
27/03/2021 04:41:32:Error loading VisualScripting data for 1496830085,18818_sensor_id : Tentativo di deserializzare un flusso vuoto. :: in System.Runtime.Serialization.Formatters.Binary.BinaryFormatter.Deserialize(Stream serializationStream, HeaderHandler handler, Boolean fCheck, Boolean isCrossAppDomain, IMethodCallMessage methodCallMessage)
in System.Runtime.Serialization.Formatters.Binary.BinaryFormatter.Deserialize(Stream serializationStream)
in GOverlay.Form1.ReloadSettings(Object lcd)

Can someone please help me? Thanks!!

version 1.6.9 firmware 242

Updated to 1.6.9.13 but nothing changes :(

Tell me if you need something for future research, but if I am the only one with this issue don't mind, I found another profile I'm happy with :D

try viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1734
it will most likely have the same issue but provide the log file after you start goverlay and get that error.
Also, are you running goverlay as admin?
are you using a custom shortcut to run it? if so, whats the working path for the shortcut?

Updated and in fact the issue is still there.

Yes, I run Goverlay as admin; I'm not 100% sure of what you mean but I didn't made any modification to the shortcut.
