Do not install the new HWInfo 7.00. Goverlay does not work fully with HWInfo 7.00 (unless you have a pro license).

In the new free license from HWInfo, there is only 12 hours of shared memory support. After this period, this setting must be activated again manually in the HW info settings.

GOverlay + HWiNFO 6.X
You can still use HWiNFO 6.X with GOverlay as usual.

GOverlay + HWiNFO 7.X FREE LICENSE
If you intend to use HWiNFO 7, it works with GOverlay but depends on your HWiNFO license.
If you use free license, you have to start HWiNFO in full mode, go to settings and enable shared memory support as the next image shows

After this, you still need to open the sensors tab, otherwise it will not send sensors info.
After you do this two steps, GOverlay will be able to read HWiNFO data from 12 hours straight, after that, you need to re-enable HWiNFO shared memory support

GOverlay + HWiNFO 7.X PRO LICENSE
You can still use HWiNFO 7.X with GOverlay as you used to use it with 6.X.

there is nothing broken, its just the way hwinfo works now, you need a license if you are >=7.00 to use it as before, otherwise stay <7.00
