Importing Images

Postby SNAFU183 » Fri Jan 15, 2021 8:30 pm

Hello all. How do I go about importing images to add to my design? I have seen a lot of amazing profiles but when I download them many of the images are missing. I am new to this so I apologize if this is a basic question. Thanks!

After importing a profile you should get prompted to upload the files.
Can you check if there is any error in the logs after you import the profile?
If it doesnt work, try the latest beta, there were some fixes related to that, see if it works

Thanks for the reply! So, I have no problem downloading the profile and sending to the device. The problem is that some of the unique icons and images do not transfer over. I can only see and use the stock icons that came with the LCDSysInfo. I guess I need to know how to add custom .bmp images into the LCDSysInfo software so I can use it.

no, thats the thing, when you download a profile, it contains the images needed and after the import process it should ask you to upload the files, if you dont see a prompt asking, then something went wrong

I install the BETA version 1.6.9.13 and I try to install profiles, but never change..
I see some lines or gauge on black screen because all icons aren't linked and I don't know if the download save it (or where).

after the profile import, you should get a message about importing the images, if you dont, follow this steps
1- go to goverlay, log > and mark "save the log into a file"
2- import the profile with the issue
3- after the import, if it didnt ask to upload the images, go again to log and unmark "save the log into a file"
4- attach me the lo file, you can find it by clicking on the bottom right "click here to open the log folder"

I try to do what you write, but the log doesn't write anything. If I open a log file is of few days ago and not today (I try more times).
I do a screen of the Log on app and what you see is a loop, he continuosly write lines and lines of same missing font and it stop when I apply a default template.
Here the screen:
