HWiNFO Plugin

The plugin is already bundled in GOverlayPlus, it allows to fetch HWiNFO sensors.

There are different HWiNFO versions:

GOverlay + HWiNFO 6.X
You can still use HWiNFO 6.X with GOverlayPlus as usual.

GOverlay + HWiNFO 7.X FREE LICENSE
If you intend to use HWiNFO 7, it works with GOverlayPlus but depends on your HWiNFO license.
If you use free license, you have to start HWiNFO in full mode, go to settings and enable shared memory support as the next image shows

After this, you still need to open the sensors tab, otherwise it will not send sensors info.
After you do this two steps, GOverlayPlus will be able to read HWiNFO data from 12 hours straight, after that, you need to re-enable HWiNFO shared memory support

GOverlay + HWiNFO 7.X PRO LICENSE
You can still use HWiNFO 7.X with GOverlayPlus as you used to use it with 6.X.


To use HWiNFO monitoring:
Start HWInfo
Open "Monitoring > Sensor Status" in HWInfo (keep it open, you can minimize and in the options set it to start on startup)
Run GOverlayPlus
Enable the Plugin in the Plugins settings.
